Donna Kshir (Donna M. Kshir) and Sandra Dawn Potter are well-known for their work with Dreamcatchers for Abused Children, but this writing duo wanted to to step outside the box, do something that has never been done before, and create a series of books to help teens in abusive relationships, but looking at abuse from both sides of the table, the victim and the abuser.
True to their word, the writing duo co-wrote two new books, focusing on teen dating violence; exclusively for teens, as well as tweens, parents and caregivers.
The books are a version of "She Said, He Said." The concept allows the reader to step into the shoes of both the abuser and the victim, and experience just how domestic violence affects both sides, male and female, of a relationship.
Both books are compelling, and allows the reader to experience firsthand what it feels like to be on either side of teen dating violence. Each book comes complete with a fictional story, dating and safety tips, hot-line numbers and the signs and symptoms of teen dating violence.
